MarketMuse Chosen as 2019 Red Herring Winner

Boston, MA | May 21, 2019 — Red Herring recently announced the winners of its Top 100 North America 2019 event, recognizing the continent’s most inspiring and groundbreaking private technology companies, including MarketMuse in the Software category. MarketMuse transforms how companies research, plan and craft their content.

Celebrated at a special awards ceremony at the Westin Pasadena hotel, the winners have been chosen from thousands of entrants, narrowed down to hundreds making the journey to California. The ceremony, led by Red Herring chairman Alex Vieux, was preceded by two days of keynote speeches, discussions and finalist presentations.

“Content must be timely, focused and thoughtful,” said Vieux. “Often quantity does not allow readers to absorb the message and its implications. Analyzing how it fits the audience and responds to multi-layered objectives improves the effectiveness of every organization, private or public across platforms. MarketMuse technology has conceived and is disseminating the leading technology capable of scaling this difficult issue and identifies solutions to answer this quantitative and qualitative, universal problem. Thus it has received the Red Herring Top 100 2019 Award as it becomes a must-have software companion.”

Companies were judged by industry experts, insiders, and journalists on a wide variety of criteria including financial performance, innovation, business strategy, and market penetration. MarketMuse won in Software category, having secured a win for the 2018 Red Herring Top 100 North America as well.

“We couldn’t be happier to win a Red Herring award two years in a row. I’m so proud of the work the team has done to earn this award and display the value our vision has to offer organizations,” said Aki Balogh, CEO of MarketMuse. “Our mission is to automate and accelerate content creation to further unleash human creativity. This takes us one step closer to accomplishing that.”

Red Herring’s editors have been evaluating the world’s startups and tech companies for over two decades. It gives them the ability to see through the industry’s hype to pick firms that will continue on a trajectory to success. Brands such as Alibaba, Google, Kakao, Skype, Spotify, Twitter, and YouTube have all been singled out in Red Herring’s storied history.

Now MarketMuse is invited to the next step, which is to present at the Top 100 Global event in November that will encompass the best-in-show from the Top 100 Europe, North America, and Asia. Red Herring is dedicated to supporting MarketMuse’s continued path to success and innovation.
